Neitaji Mahavidyalaya,Arambagh was founded in 1948 after Subah qiandela·baosi, the school was named. The first 9 years, the College was affiliated to Calcutta University, as a middle school. In 1957, the College was upgraded to a university degree. In 1960, the College was affiliated to University of Burdwan. The College also offers a number of courses of study a rare plant protection, computer science, electronics, facilities for environmental science and vocational courses.
The aim of the Institute is to inspire students to become good citizens of the country by making them aware of their own glorious cultural traditions and responsibilities, social rights and. College is located in Arambagh in the Kalipur, hooghly, which is 42 kilometers, South to the village of Burdwan, West to the Tarekeshwar station, 28 km, 14 km, and 20 km North East to Kamarpukur and Jairambat.
